Charlie Cain, 81, was born on October 26, 1941, to George W. and Lillie Bell Cain in Blossom, TX and entered eternal life on September 21, 2023. He worked as a supervisor for the City of Dallas Water Utilities for over 33 years in the Survey and Mapping Division. In 1992 after retiring, he and his family moved to Frankston to enjoy the peacefulness of the countryside. He was a charter member of Lighthouse Baptist Chapel in Frankston where he served as a deacon. Charlie was also an avid golfer. He is greatly remembered for his sense of humor -- his love of laughter and giving laughter to others.

Charlie was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Evelyn Mobley.

Charlie is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Linda Glover Cain of Frankston; son, Steve Cain and wife Darlene of Parker, CO; daughters, Kristi Cain Denton and husband Stile of Frankston, and Teresa Cain of The Colony, TX. He is also survived by his four grandchildren: Zachary Denton, Bryan Cain, Megan Denton Jones, and Michael Denton; and one great grandchild, Slayton Jones.

A funeral service for Charlie was held at 11 a.m. Monday, September 25, 2023, at Lighthouse Baptist Chapel in Frankston. Bro. George Folmar and Bro. Joshua Wilken officiated. Charlie was laid to rest at Frankston City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Steve Cain, Zachary Denton, Bryan Cain, Michael Denton, Wayne Bristow, Lynn Livingston, Tim Bulin, and Jack Willaford.
