"I Christian Anthony of the town of Sharon in the County of Schoharie in the State of New York, of the age seventy-four years (actually, sixty-nine years) and being of sound mind and memory do make publish and declare this my last will and testament..First, I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Ann the one-third of my real estate...during her lifetime...Also so much of my dwelling house...I also give and bequeath to my said wife Ann all my household furniture for her own use or disposal...Second, I give and bequeath to my sons Norman Anthony, John Anthony and Madison Anthony all of my real estate to be divided equally...Third, I give and bequeath to my daughters Maria, wife of Christopher Platner, Catherine, wife of Daniel Eldredge, and Almira, wife of John Malick each the sum of five hundred dollars...fourth I give and bequeath to my son Charles the sum of one thousand dollars to be paid to him one year after his return to Schoharie County...I give and bequeath to my son William Anthony his support, to be provided by my sons Norman, John and Madison jointly during his natural life...I give and bequeath to my grandson Alfred, son of Henry Anthony, the sum of five hundred dollars...and to my granddaughter, Mary Ett, daughter of Henry Anthony, the sum of three hundred dollars...appoint my brother David Anthony and my son John Anthony to be the executors..."
