Born in Pelzer, she was a daughter the late Thomas Arabian "T.A." Cothran, Sr. and Mary Blanche Hendrix Cothran. She was a member of Washington Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Survivors include her sons, Paul E. Kelley, Jr. (Rebecca) of Pelzer and Rev. Jason Jay Kelley (Michelle) of Eugene, OR; daughter, Diana Jane Spears (Jeff) of Warrenton, VA; brothers, Billy Cothran, Ricky Cothran (Betty Jo), and Glenn Cothran (Judy); sisters, Linda Coker (Marvin) and Joyce Coker (Larry) all of Pelzer; grandchildren, Audrey, Christopher, Phillip, Joshua, Natalie, and Sara; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by son, Alvie Thomas Kelley; sisters, Joanne Davenport and Mary Louise Southern; brothers, Tommy Cothran, Jr. and Kenneth Cothran; and grandson, Jerry Mead.
