Funeral services for Mr. Franklin "D." Bradford, age 62, of Taft conducted at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. David Clemons and Bro. Roger Berry officiating. Burial in Kirkland Cemetery. Mr. Bradford died Thursday morning at his residence.
He was a native of the Coldwater Community and the son of the late Orbie and Mary Eliza Dollar Bradford.
He was a farmer, retired machinist with Goodman Company, and a member of the New Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years Brenda King Bradford of Taft, daughters, Sonia and Jennifer Bradford both of Taft, Angela Lackey and husband Geoff of Spring Hill, TN, sisters, Judith Troup and husband Tommy of Paducah, KY, Peggy Holt and husband Charles of Madison, TN, brothers John Bradford and wife Cassie of Clayton, NC, Jennings Bradford and wife Sara of Taft, and Bill Dollar and wife Ruby of Fayetteville, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jerry Bradford and three sisters, Aliene Beech, Geneva Renegar and Rachel Black.
Those serving as pallbearers are Brad Stewart, Jonathan Bryant, Steve Stewart, Jackie Bottom, Don Franklin, Joe Widner and Charles Eldridge.
