A 1970 graduate of Tell City High School, Mary earned her Bachelor's Degree in nursing from the University of Evansville. She retired from Oakwood Health Campus and had worked at Perry County Memorial Hospital and the former Beverly Healthcare. Mary was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. She enjoyed knitting and rug hooking, making all kinds of crafts then sharing them with others.
Surviving are her children, Erin Janes (Ben) of Evansville and Eric Elder of Tell City; grandson, Waylon Janes; brothers, Alan Keller (Leona), Newburgh and her twin, Joe Keller (Bev), Tell City.
Preceding her in death were her parents and husband, Barry Elder.
A Memorial Mass will be at St. Paul Catholic Church.
