(from 'Genius of Liberty', Uniontown, PA, Thursday, 31 May 1883)
(from our Mill Run correspondent)
Mrs. Mary Prinkey, died suddenly Sunday night, 20th last, of heart disease and dropsy. She enjoyed herself well during the day and evening and at 10 o'clock she obeyed the summons "come up higher". Deceased was a daughter of Rev. John Williams, and departed at the age of forty-nine years, one month and twelve days, the mother of twelve children and numerous grandchildren. A lady of eminent piety, a devoted and exemplary member of the Regular Baptist church of which her aged and afflicted father is a leading minister. Her bereaved husband, Isaac Prinkey, is a prominent farmer living two miles from Springfield, has been married little over thirty-two years and his married life has never been anything but the most cheerful and pleasant. His loss is inestimable. Funeral on Tuesday at Baptist church cemetery. Services conducted by Rev. J.E. McClay, of U.B. church. In the sudden and sad bereavement the husband and family have the most profound sympathy of the entire section.
'Our loss is her eternal gain,
Freed from this world of sin and pain;
Will in her Maker's image rise
And live forever in the skies.'

(article is almost hidden within another paragraph):

She was an excellent lady and leaves a husband and nine children to mourn her death. She was a daughter of Rev. John Williams and a member of the Baptist church for quite a number of years. Her remains were interred at the Indian Creek Baptist church on Tuesday followed by a large assemblage of neighbors and friends.
