Death of Isaac Prinkey
Isaac Prinkey died at his home in Springfield township, May 15, 1899 aged 72 years. He was one of the most prominent farmers of that vicinity and owned more real estate than any other person in the mountain district, and had presented each of his children a fine farm. Besides his large real estate holdings he was blessed with an abundance of personal property. He was popular with the people who knew him best and will be missed by very many friends and neighbors in the neighborhood of Normalville.

OBITUARY:

Isaac Prinkey, Sr., who had a stroke of apoplexy last week, died Monday night at 10 o'clock. The funeral took place at the Indian Creek Baptist Church Thursday morning at 9 o'clock. He leaves a wife and family of grown children. The family have the sympathy of the community.
