Babb, born February 8, 1932, in Quitman County, was a retired maintenance superintendent for Bunge, Corp.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Marks.
Survivors are sons Ken Babb of Marks and Joey Babb of Madison; sister Mary Frances Mitchell of Marks, and four grandchildren. He was preceeded in death by his wife, Eloise Abel Babb.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Marks or to First Marks Cemetery Association.
