Alma was a lifelong resident of Clay County, working for various drug stores throughout the years, such as Bradleys, Revco and Eckerds now known as CVS. Alma also worked for the Clay County council on aging before becoming a full-time home caregiver for her ailing parents and eventual siblings. Besides love for her family and country music her true passion was anything that involved her daughter.
Alma is preceded in death by both of her parents, sister, Lisa Bentley, two brothers Lee (Gus) and Alvin Bentley, and her daughter, Jessica Kendall all of Green Cove Springs. Survivors are her oldest brother, Howard Bentley, two nieces, Kathy Sutton, and Shannon Moore and cousin Jennifer Jackson.
