BEDFORD — Robert R. Younger, 64, of Bedford, died 9:45 p.m. Friday at Dunn Memorial Hospital in Bedford.
Born April 23, 1943, in Bedford, he was the son of Ray Bert Younger and Millison Speer Younger.
A lifelong resident of Bedford, he retired from General Electric in Bloomington as an assemblyman.
He attended Shawswick Schools and was an avid fisherman and hunter.
Survivors include one son, Randy Younger and wife, Cheryl, of Bloomington; one daughter, April Younger of Bloomington; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild; his mother, Millison Younger; one sister, Libby Tirey and husband, Scott, of Mitchell; one brother, Jerry Younger and wife, Jo, of Orlando, Fla.; four nieces and several great-nieces and -nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home Bedford. Burial will be at Pinhook Cemetery in Bedford.
