He attended the First Baptist Church of Chuluota and was a member of the Veterans of World War I Post 237. Survivors: wife, Christine; sons, Dan Jr. and Julius, both of Orlando; daughter, Mrs. Bessie Mae Hawkins, Orlando; Brother Willis, Dillon,SC; sister Mrs. Nellie Norris, Wallis S.C.; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
