Bobby Balentine, age 70, of Warren died Saturday August 28, at Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. Born December 12, 1933 in Bradley County, AR. a son of the late James Calvin "Bud" Balentine and Emma Bryant Balentine he was retired from Arkla Gas Co. with 21 years of service, had worked for I.P., was a member of Emmaus Baptist Church and a mason. Also, preceding him in death were brothers Charles Balentine and Jimmy Balentine. Survivors are his wife Ella Faye Trammell Balentine whom he married May 12, 1951. 1 son Monty Balentine and spouse Sharon of Warren. 1 daughter Cathy Balentine of Bryant. 1 sister Anna Jo Hopper of Shreveport, LA. 4 grandchildren Shannon Lassiter of Hermitage, Shane Lassiter of Bryant, Zeb Balentine and Katie Balentine both of Warren. 2 great-grandchildren Hayden Lassiter of Hermitage and Haley Lassiter of Bryant. Funeral services were 2:00 p.m. Tuesday August 31, Frazer's Chapel with Rev. Glenn Alston and Rev. Tee Don White officiating. Janice Sullivan was organist and special music was provided by Zeb Balentine and Melvin Mills. Burial was in Moseley Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Donald Lee Lasiter, Tony Cathey, Pat Ballentime, Jr., Randy Funderburg, Wade Bryant, Jimmy Clemens, Dennis Crabb and Eddie Smith. Honorary pallbearers were Lawrence Thompson, Pat Ballentine, Sr., Harold Bryant, Roger George, Duwayne George, Dan Thompson, Billy Waldrop and Saline River Hunting Club.
