Eric Elias Lail

Dublin, Va. — Eric Elias Lail born Feb. 15, 1982 went to be with our Lord Oct. 7, 2006.

Formerly of Wolfe, he was the son of Rodney Lail of Wolfe and Della Wyse Lail of Bluefield, Va.

He was residing in Dublin, Va. and was employed with Chic Fil-A at Radford University in Radford, Va.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Donald Lail; maternal grandfather, Phillip Daniel Wyse; and an uncle, Aaron Lail.

Survivors in addition to his parents include one son, Gavin Chase Lail of Bluewell; one brother, Joey Lail and wife Ginger of Dublin, Va.; paternal grandmother, Lucille Jeffery and step grandfather, Kenneth Jeffery of Bluewell; maternal grandmother, Mae Crigger along with his step grandfather, Frank Crigger of Bluefield, Va. Also in addition are his paternal aunts, Angela Sanders of Winston-
Salem, Pat and Skip of North Carolina, Francis and Dennis of N. Wilkesboro, and Larry Lail of North Carolina. His maternal family includes an Aunt Cindy Lail and special companion Jeff Jones of Dublin, Va., his Aunt Cathy Agee and husband David of Roanoke, Va., his Aunt Beverly Lewis of Airport Road; an Uncle Danny Wyse and wife Tammy of Bluefield. Also his uncle and close friend, Jacob Crigger and wife Michele of Bluefield, Va. along with a close nephew and friend, Scott White and a special niece, Cassidi Lail both of Dublin, Va.; and a numerous amount of special cousins in his life. Also there was a special place in his heart for his son's mother, Jessica Cranfill of Bluewell, and a big piece of his heart was for his special friend, Chelsey Green of Pocahontas, Va.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday, Oct. 12, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at the Rodriguez Pocahontas Funeral Home Chapel, Pocahontas, Va., with the Rev. Dewayne Houk officiating.

Burial followed at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Princeton.

Pallbearers: Richard Blevins, Nathan Hendrick, Adam Agee, Jimmy Hardin, Jeff Jones and Randy Houk.

Eric's memory will always be with us and he will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends.
