Ruby Jean (Baker) Shell, age 77 of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2023 at Highlands ARH Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg, Kentucky. She was born June 11, 1946 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky to the late Troy & Beatrice Goble Baker. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her two daughters: Ruby Ann Shell & Ruann Salyers; Sister: Ernestine Fraley. She is survived by three sons: Frank (Jennifer) Shell III, James (Melissa) Shell & Bill (Suzanne) Shell all of Prestonsburg, Kentucky; two granddaughter, 4 grandsons, 1 great grandson, 1 great granddaughter, 1 step granddaughter, 2 step grandsons, 5 step great granddaughters and 1 step great grandson. She was loved by us all and she will be greatly missed.

Visitation will begin Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 7pm at the funeral home

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 1pm at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, Prestonsburg, Kentucky with Sam Cole

Burial will follow at Shell Family Cemetery, Prestonsburg, Kentucky
