SAINT PETERSBURG, Florida— Robert Eugene Turner, age 78, of 1232 Third St. N., Saint Petersburg, Florida, died Saturday, October 9, 1965, in Saint Petersburg, Florida.

Robert Eugene Turner was born in Norfolk, Virginia, to the late Robert Edwin Turner and Lillian Duncan "Lilly" Aydelotte Turner. He moved here, to Saint Petersburg, Fla., 10 years ago, from New York City. Robert was a veteran of World War I and was a retired mechanical engineer.

Survived by his wife, Susanna Elizabeth Turner, nee Kranz, whom he married in 1929; two [half] brothers, Col. Edwin W. Turner, USAF; James W. Turner, New Jersey; and a sister, Mrs. Allen (Arline Gladys) Darden, Norfolk, Virginia.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Ralph Cooksey Funeral Home, 917 Arlington Ave., with the Rev. Paul C. Johansen, St. Peter's Episcopal Church, officiating.
