Timber Dick

Timber Dick, 52, was traveling on Interstate 70, when his front right tire locked up, forcing him off the highway, he flipped 20 times. His vehicle was on fire and he crawled out for several feet when a group of strangers ran to help him, using a fire extinguisher to put out the flames. He was taken to the University of Colorado Hospital, burn unit where he was taken care of by staff who did everything to save his life but he died Thursday.
Dick's wife Annette Lantos Tillemann-Dick and sister expressed deep gratitude to the staff for the care and concern they gave her husband and to their fiends for the prayers in his behalf.
Dick almost died four or five times and each time his wife was at his bedside giving him her love and gratitude and appreciation.
Dick leaves behind his wife, 11 children and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 610 Coors St. in Lakewood on Tuesday, April 15 at 10 a.m.
