Samuel Henry Branch, son of the late Gilbert & Opal Branch, was born May 13, 1936, in Comanche, OK, and departed this life on March 15, 2009. Sam was preceded in death by his parents and brother Thestain. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Khleber children Julie and Greg sisters Jeanetta Weeks and June Orten daughter-in-law Rachel grandchildren Cole, Lane, Wade and Kendra and a host of family and friends who grieve this loss. Sam sought to place the Lord first, family and friends next, and his own needs behind those of others. His laugh was contagious, even after the affects of multiple strokes robbed us of our ability to communicate with him. We miss him dearly, but would not dream of taking him away from the peace and serenity of Paradise. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 21, 2009 at 801 South Bryant in Edmond, OK. The Corbett Funeral Home in Oklahoma City will be directing the memorial.
