Services will be held to celebrate the life of Diane LoRean Dowden at 2:00 pm on Monday, September 11, 2023 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Rev. Delbert Terry officiating. Visitation will be held prior beginning at 1:00 pm until service time.
Diane was born on December 10, 1955 in Shreveport, LA and passed away peacefully on September 1, 2023 in Haughton, LA. Diane enjoyed for close to 25 years, bowling with her team, the Saints, who she called her bowling ladies and would go to lunch afterwards every week. More than anything, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Tipell and her mother, Margie Orr Tipell.
Diane is survived by her husband of 47 years, Charles R. Dowden; sons, Alan Dowden and Matt Dowden; daughters, Amanda Frantom and husband Brad Frantom, Kimberly Dowden, Jessica Dowden and her fiancé Steven Harper; and eight grandchildren.
Honoring Diane as pallbearers will be Alan Dowden, Matt Dowden, Steven Harper, Brad Frantom, Tommy Ford and Mark Robertson.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association.
