Private Daniel Maloney, a tailor from Oxford, Pa. Enlisted at age 33 on Sept. 23, 1861, for 3 yrs.; in Company H, 97th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry. He reenlisted as a Veteran at Fernandina, Florida on March 16, 1864, to date Feb, 29, 1864; He died of chronic diarrhea at the Portsmouth Grove Hosp., R. I., on Oct. 10, 1864.
