Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 8, 2023, at the Solano Cemetery in Solano, New Mexico with Pastor Roy Mitchell officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.
Richard Boulware was born on March 9, 1939, in Roy, New Mexico to Carlyle Boulware and Pearl Marie (Strawn) Boulware. He lived most of his life in Harding County working on various ranches, starting on the Maddox Ranch right out of high school. Richard married Helen Rose (Moore) Boulware on November 18, 1961, at the Solano Community Church in Solano, New Mexico. Together they worked on ranches around the area including the Spade Ranch and the Clabber Hill Ranch as well as running their own ranch. Richard enjoyed ranching and taking care of the cattle. Richard also did construction work for various construction companies and his last job was with the Harding County Road Department. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, by a daughter, Yetta Seany and a grandson Lane James Seany, by 3 brothers, Bill Boulware, Henry Boulware and James Boulware and by 4 sisters, Mary Francis Payton, Peggy Parsons, Dorothy Chavez and Evelyn Thigpen.
