Richard A. Hissom, 66, of Scenery Hill, passed away Monday, May 17, 2021 at Washington Hospital. Born July 28, 1954 in Wickhaven, PA. he was the son of the late James L. and Eleanor Askey Hissom. Mr. Hissom was retired self-employed auto mechanic, a member of the Charleroi Russian Club, social member of Charleroi American Legion, enjoyed building standard twin tractors and had a passion for old cars.

He is survived by his eight children Richard &Theresa Hissom of Georgia, Carly Hissom of Perryopolis, Brandy & Dan Hornak Valentine of Charleroi, Chekera Hissom & David Adler of Indiana, Heather Hissom & James Hartley of Vestaburg, Kaitlyn & Dennis Kurowski of Daisytown, Amanda Hissom of West Virginia, Brittney Hissom of Daisytown; brother & sister in law James Robert & Jaretta Hissom; sister & brother in law Margery & Richard Pisarcik of New Kensington; 18 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Carole Hissom, brother Bruce Hissom, infant brother Barry Hissom, sister Lila Rae Watson and a nephew Kevin Keffer.
