"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways follow Him and He will make your paths straight." -- Proverbs 3:5-6

Lillian Meurer, daughter of Alfred J. Wahrmund and Emma Fritz Warhmund earned her angel wings on September 2nd, 2023. She joined our Lord in heaven at the age of 98. She was married to John Jacob Meurer for 55 years. John passed away on March 20th, 1999. She was the proud mother of three sons: John/Yvonne Meurer, Robert/Diana Meurer, and Vernon Meurer. Vernon passed away in 2009 and Robert passed away in 2013. There are ten grandchildren: Russell/Larisa Meurer, Joel/Caroline Meurer, Will Meurer, Christina/Sam Weinberg, Neil Meurer, Ashley/Matthew Gumbert, David Meurer (deceased), Darren/Kirsten (deceased) Meurer, Avery and April Meurer. There are eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by sisters Ann Stehling and Loreen Meckel. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family.

Lillian was involved in the Catholic Daughters, Hermannsohne Germischter Choir, and Golden Hub. She was always known as a hard worker, she retired from her last job at the age of 85. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, singing, embroidery, and making flower arrangements. She was a wonderful grandmother and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed. The family is devastated but know that she is with God and will continue to live in our hearts. The family gives special thanks to Kathleen Meurer and Diana Meurer for all their assistance during Oma Meurer's nursing home care, we couldn't have done it without them.

The family will greet friends on Friday, September 15th from 8:45 to 9:30 A.M. in the St. Mary's Catholic Church with a Rosary Service at 9:30 A.M. and a Mass of Resurrection at 10 A.M.

Entombment will follow in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be given in her memory to the St. Mary's School Endowment Fund, Catholic Daughters or to the charity of your choice.
