Born in Poland, Stella emigrated to France during the Depression years and survived the Occupation of France during the Second World War.
She met her husband Michael (Michal) in France and were married in 1941. In 1949 Stella with husband and daughter emigrated to Canada, residing in Kitchener until her move to Hanover. Stella spent her last years at the Hanover Care Centre.
Predeceased by her husband Michael (1986) and her son Tadeusz "Ted" (2017). Predeceased by her parents and siblings in Poland.
