EMIL B. BEHRMAN, 68, of Swansea, died on Thursday, May 14, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital. He was a retired employee of the former Streck Packing Company. He was a member of Holy Name Society at St. Henry's Church and the Butcher's Local 545 in St. Louis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John H. and Mary, nee Hoff, Behrman, a brother, Aloys Behrman and three sisters, Frances Schoenherr, Leona Trentmann and Mary Buss. He is survived by his wife, the former Margaret Heafner; a son and daughter-in-law, Ralph E. and Judy Behrman of Belleville; a brother, Sylvester Behrman of Belleville; three sisters, Ms. Anna Behrman and Mrs. Hilda Erb, both of St. Louis and Mrs. Cletus (Veronica) Harmon of Belleville and a granddaughter, Christina Marie.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 am. on Monday, May 18, from the George Renner and Son Funeral Home to St. Henry's Church for a 10:00 a.m. funeral mass. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery. Friends may call after 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, at the funeral home.
