Barbara J. Hinchcliffe, 89, passed peacefully on August 23rd 2023. Barbara was predeceased by her parents, Jacob and Marie Brenneis; her two husbands, Robert Parsons, Alfred Hinchcliffe; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Emmitt Killmeier; brother, Jack Brenneis.
Barbara is survived by her two step-children, Barbara Jacobs, Richard Hinchcliffe; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three siblings and their spouses, Jim (Cheryl) Brenneis, Sharon (Mort) Rathbone, David (Laura) Brenneis; several nieces and nephews. Barbara enjoyed playing cards, Bingo, and camping with friends and family.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at 11:00 am at the Tioga Cemetery, Route 17C, Owego, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Barbara J. Hinchcliffe's memory to Mercy House of the Southern Tier, 212 N. McKinley Ave., Endicott, NY 13760. The family is being assisted by the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home.
