Word has just been received from a chaplain of the American army of the death in France, Nov. 4 of Private John J. Keleher, 24 years old, of 183 Schaeffer street, of Company F, 316th Infantry, from wounds received while fighting in the Argonne section. Private Keleher was a brother of the late Rev. P.H. Keleher, assistant rector of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Broadway and Aberdeen street, who died Oct. 17 of pneumonia. On the same day a sister of the clergyman, Mrs. Paul Harlin, also died of pneumonia.

Private Keleher’s wife, Florence, died in November, and last May he was drafted and in the early part of July sailed for France. He had been married only one year. He was born in Brookyn, and for many years had been employed by the Brooklyn Union Gas Company. He was a member of the Order of Redmen and other fraternal organizations. He is survived by a sister, Sister Mary Teresa Lourdes, and a brother, Robert M., of 322 Quincy street. Requiem mass will be celebrated for him at St. Martin of Tours Church, Knickerbocker avenue and Hancock street, next Wednesday at 9 A.M.
