LATE MRS, EZRA WEST TO BE BURIED TOMORROW
"Mrs. Ezra West passed away at her home in Sheldon, Iowa, Sunday night.
Rebecca West lived most of her life in and around Lena and Winslow. About twelve years ago she left for Sheldon, Iowa, where she has made her home ever since.
She leaves to mourn one daughter, Mrs. Geo. Merklin, of Sheldon, Ia.; two sisters, Mrs. Susan Higley, W. Lincoln boulevard, and Mrs. Betsy Howard, N. Hardin avenue. Decedent was a member of the Methodist church.
The remains will be brought to Freeport, arriving here on Wednesday at 5 a.m., and services will be held at the Wiese & Tempel funeral church on Wednesday at 1 p.m. Burial will be made in the Cross Roads cemetery near Lena. Rev. M. D. Obenshain, of First M. E. church, will officiate."
