Ruby E. Tarter, 95, of Beavercreek, Ohio passed away at Trinity Community of Beavercreek on Wednesday, April 4, 2007.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mell Tarter; her son, Melvin Leroy Tarter, and daughter, Betty Toombs. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Darlene Fox of Atlanta, Georgia and Lois A. Rice of Beavercreek; five grandchildren, Ed Rice, Michael Rice, Caroline Colson, Billy Fox and Suzanne Mullins; four great-grandchildren, Isaiah Rice, Joe Rice, Alayna Collins and Anna Collins; and sister, Virginia Henderson.
Ruby was a loving mother and grandmother. She taught Sunday School classes for 25 years and was faithful to her Lord. A visitation was held from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Saturday April 7, 2007 at East Dayton Baptist Church, Dayton, Ohio.
A funeral was held in Somerset, Kentucky on Monday, April 9, 2007. Internment followed in White Oak Cemetery, Nancy, Kentucky.
