Mrs Kells-Murphy was a native of Barstow and was a lifetime member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church.
Mrs Kells-Murphy spent her younger teenage years babysitting for her nieces and nephews. She had a great sense of humor and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Gerald Kells-Murphy and a grandson, Justin R. Brand and sisters, Maclovia "Cova" Nearen, Amparo "Sally" Day, Aurora "Gori" Duarte, Socorro "Coco" Rubio and brothers Jesus "Jesse" Aguayo, Jose "Chema" Aguayo, Alfredo "Fedo" Aguayo, Leopoldo "Polo" Aguayo, Conrad "Quito" Aguayo, Enrique "Henry" Aguayo, Rafael "Ralph" Aguayo, Arturo "Art" Aguayo.
Mrs. Kells-Murphy is survived by her son Brian Kells-Murphy and daughter Teresa Brand, a son-in-law Rodney Brand Sr. of Barstow and grandchildren Rodney Brand Jr. (Cindy) and great grandson Gavin of Barstow, Granddaughter Chiffon Brand (Adrian) and great grandchildren, Valentine Snow and Atlas Jud Castillo of Ridgecrest.
A visitation for Celia will be held Friday, September 8, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 505 E Mountain View St, Barstow, CA 92311. A rosary will occur Friday, September 8, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM, 505 E Mountain View St, Barstow, CA 92311. A mass will occur Friday, September 8, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 505 E Mountain View St, Barstow, CA 92311. A committal service will occur Friday, September 8, 2023, from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Mt. View Memorial Park, 37067 Irwin Rd., Barstow, CA 92311.
