Mrs. Harris was born Sept. 28, 1887,in Marsh Valley to Charles and Finnis Walkey Potter.
She married John David Bower Aoril 7, 1909 in Salt Lake City who died in 1934. She married Casper Whittle Harris in 1936, who died July 1953.
She married Arthur Jared Barber a widower on June 16, 1955 in Pocatello, Idaho. He died July 26, 1964
Mrs. Harris operated the Home Hotel in Lava Hot Springs for many years
and lived most ofher life in Lave. For four years she lived in Laquanita, California and the past two years in Las Vegas.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Surviving are a son, John, Salt Lake City; two daughters, Mrs William (Delpha) Mathews, Las Vegas and Mrs Verda Griff, Long Beach Calif.; four grandchildren and 10 (great) grandchildren; a brother Ellis Potter, Monterey, Calif,. and three sisters, Mrs. Ora Hendricks, Portland. Ore; Mrs Amy Miles and Mrs Delan Wilson, Kemmerer. Wyo.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 10a.m. in the Lava Hot Springs LDS chapel will Bishop Raymond Bailey officiating. The family will receive friends at the Manning Funeral Chapel in Pocatello Monday from 7 until 8 p.m.;and Tuesday from 0 a.m. until funeral time at the Lava Hot
Springs LDS chapel.
