Michael S. Pierce, 60, of Bennington, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington.

Michael was born in Bennington, November 20, 1962 the son of the late Lloyd J. Pierce, Sr., and Gail Weber Pierce.

Michael attended Molly Stark School and also attended BOCES. He had lived in North Bennington, Cambridge and then moved to Bennington to live with his sister and brother-in-law.

Michael loved the Jetsons, playing on his tablet, listening to country music and musical toys. His favorite color was blue. Michael loved going for rides and enjoyed eating peanut butter and milk. Michael was loved by all, especially his family.

Michael is survived by his siblings. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews & cousins.

Calling hours are Friday, September 1, 2023, from 11 am to 1 pm at the Ackley, Ross & Gariepy Funeral Home, 73 West Main St., Cambridge. A service will follow at 1 pm with Rev. Carol Finke officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlands Cemetery in Cambridge.
