Kathy Sue Allen, 72, of Hawk Point, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at her residence in Hawk Point, Missouri. She was born on February 8, 1951 in St. Charles, Missouri and was the daughter of the late Allen Ernest and Mary Ellen (Queathem) Seeger. Kathy was united in marriage to Perry "Nick" Allen on August 9, 1974 at the Silex Presbyterian Church in Silex, Missouri and together they shared six children.

Kathy graduated in 1969 from Silex High School and graduated in 1973 from Central Missouri State, earning a Bachelor of Science in Education. She retired after 25 years of dedication as a teacher with the Lincoln County R-III School District. After retirement, she was an art teacher for 17 years for Boncl R-X School District. She was always Nick's biggest fan with his adventures in life, but couldn't have been more proud when Nick founded Allen Auction alongside their two sons. Kathy put in many long hours with all the little details of each auction and with working the real estate side as a real estate broker. She was also a familiar face as a funeral assistant at Kemper-Keim Family Funeral Chapel for many years.

Kathy was active with the Lincoln County 4-H where she served on the 4-H Council. With being an active part of the community, she was a member of the Hawk Point Booster Club, Retired Teachers of Lincoln County R-III and served as the Vice President of the Hawk Point Athletic Association. Kathy's greatest accomplishment in life was being a Mama, she looked forward to her days with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She would read some of the best books and the grandchildren always loved Mama's crafts. She enjoyed spending time in her flower and vegetable garden. She loved her family with everything she had. She was the voice of the Lincoln County Fair Information Booth for many years, not to mention the gentle smile as you walked by and was the 2023 Friend of the Lincoln County Fair. Kathy was dedicated to Lincoln and surrounding counties, with being an active part of many church, school, civic and youth livestock auctions. She looked forward to the trips to Mark Twain, camping with Nick and friends. Kathy found her heart was happiest with a full house. She looked forward to the pool full of kids and a table surrounded with the ones she loved. Kathy's tell-it-like-it-is personality is sure going to be missed.
