07/17/2007 THELMA M. BUSHEY WINOOSKI — Thelma M. Bushey, 89. On April 18, 2007, our beloved mother and grandmother passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Home for the Aged in Burlington. She will be greatly missed by all. Thelma was born in Burlington on May 29, 1917, daughter of the late Dolphis and Delina (Hall) Croto. She was employed for many years at the American Woolen Mill, J.C. Penney, and Gaynes Dept. Store. Thelma was predeceased by her first husband Alfred Barcomb in 1965, and by her second husband Ernest Bushey in 1991. Thelma enjoyed knitting, crocheting afghans and butterfly and flower magnets for family and friends, playing cards, and reading while she was still able to. She is survived by two sons, Alfred Barcomb Jr. and wife Mary Ann, and Randall Barcomb and wife Tara; two daughters, Carol Menard, and Betty Perrotta and husband Ralph; stepchildren, Linda Dusablon and husband Arthur Dusablon Sr., Edward Bushey and wife Rita, Darlene Hubacher and friend David Bissonnette, and Robert Bushey and wife Judy; many grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, great-greatgrandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Thelma was predeceased by three sisters, Vivian French, Evelyn Stevens, and Irene Raferty. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, July 23, at 10 a.m. in St. Stephen Catholic Church in Winooski. Interment will follow in New Mount Calvary Cemetery in Burlington. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Home for the Aged, 243 North Prospect St., Burlington, VT 05401. Thelma's family will greet friends and family on Monday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the LaVigne Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 132 Main St., Winooski.
