Cynthia Ann (Karshner) Waltz , 65, of Chillicothe, passed away Monday evening, February 21, 2022 with family by her side due to complications of extensive injuries sustained by a car accident in September 2021.

Cindy was born on January 1, 1957, in Ross County, Ohio, to the late Nelson and Goldie (Waits) Karshner. She was the youngest of five children: Nelson Karshner, Jr., Ernie (Holly) Karshner, Clara (Ronnie) Adams; and Claudia (Wayne) Ward.

Cindy was a 1975 graduate of Southeastern High School and was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. On December 28, 1986, she married the love of her life, Jack Waltz, who survives. She also leaves behind three children: Jay (Jodi) Waltz, Eva Waltz, and Jean (Jay) Gramling; as well as, two grandchildren, Alexis Waltz (Lincoln Payne) and Matthew Waltz; several nieces and nephews, and numerous other special family members and friends whom she cherished.

In addition to her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by her brother, Nelson Karshner, Jr. and sister, Claudia Ward.
