Mrs. Lossing will be buried on 35th Birthday Anniversary. Mrs. Lena M. Lossing died of tuberculosis at four o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the home, 432 Charlevoix Avenue, two days before her thirty-fifth birth anniversary, which would have occurred Thursday, Aug 28. The deceased had resided in Petosky three years, coming here from Kalkaska. Her husband, Perry C. Lossing is a carpenter by trade. They were united in marriage Jan 29, 1902. Four children Wilda, Eleanor, Wilbur and Rhea survive, as well as the deceased's mother, Mrs. Bradford Gragg and a brother Edwin Reynolds, both of Kalkaska. Mrs. Lossing, formerly Miss Lena Reynolds, was born in New York state, but was reared in Kalkaska County. She had been ill some time, but had been confined to her bed since April. The body will be taken Thursday afternoon to Kalkaska for burial following brief services by Rev. C. E. Pickett from the residence on Charlevoix Avenue.
