She was born Sept. 17 1895 in Rural Marion, the daughter of Joseph and Verena Fink Wegerer.

She married Leo Winkley on Sept. 21 1916. He died in 1956.

She was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church and Altar society. She had been a resident of Peabody Community Living Center since July 1997.

She enjoyed music and was the organist at Spring Branch Catholic Church for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and one sister.

Survivors include: one daughter, Lucille Meirowsky, Peabody, two grandchildren, Maurice Meirowsky, Peabody and Jeanine Beauchamp, Hutchinson; 4 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.

Musicians were Larry Estrada, Soloist and Jim Hon was organist.

Casket bearers were Maurice Meirowsky, Stephen Meirowsky, Christopher Beauchamp, Marshal Beauchamp, Jim Holm and Henry Gronau.

Honorary casket bearers were Robert Wegerer, Lawrence Winkley, Clarence Debbrecht, Orval Suderman, Gordon Hiebert and Ralph Funk.

A memorial fund has been established in her name at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Newton.
