PRICE--Jay Warren Rich, 81, died June 11, 1997 at his home.
Born Feb. 9, 1916 in Lovell, Wyoming, to Jacob H. and Mary E. Losee Rich. Married Sarah Allred, June 9, 1934 in Wellington; later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. He loved hunting, fishing, and driving his truck, especially with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah of Price; children and their spouses, Pauline and Verdis Barker of Price; Ronald and Dorethey Rich of South Jordan; Lorane and Steve Seeley, of Sandy; and Susan and Jack Haggard of West Valley; and daughter-in-law, Phylis Rich Madrid of South Jordan. Also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 48 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by sons, Jerald and Dorrel, seven brothers and three sisters and two grandchildren.
Funeral services Saturday, June 14, 1997 at 11 a.m. in the Price Utah Stake Center, located on 1st South and 5th East. Friends may call Friday evening 7-9 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Price and one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Price City Cemetery.
