BROTHER OF IDABEL LADY DIED SUNDAY
Miss Elizabeth Hooks Receives Message Here That Day

News reached Idabel Sunday of the death of Mitchell Hooks, aged 48 years, at Detroit, Michigan, that morning at 9:10 o'clock. The message to relatives here did not give any particulars, only stating that it was a fatal accident. Funeral services will be held at Detroit today (Wednesday) and interment will be made in Woodland cemetery there.

Mr. Hooks is survived by his wife, two sons, Bobby and Jack, Detroit; two sisters, Miss Elizabeth Hooks, deputy in the county clerk's office in Idabel, and Mrs. Vick Pauley of Cerrogordo; and four brothers, A. C. Hooks, Miami, Arizona; John Hooks, Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Ed and Jerry Hooks, Foreman, Ark.

Mitchell Hooks resided at Foreman a number of years ago and was well known by many of our readers. He had been making his home in Detroit several years. In February, 1930, he attended the funeral of his mother, Mrs. Mollie Hooks at Cerrogordo, and that was his last visit here.

Miss Elizabeth Hooks and the other members of the family have the deepest sympathy of many friends in their hour of sorrow.
