STEWART, Mr. Derek G. Oshtemo Twp., MI Died January 6, 2005. Derek was born in Glasgow, Scotland on June 15, 1950, the son of Charles and Nancy (Graham) Stewart. He was a teacher/counselor at Parchment Middle School and Barkley School for 27 years. Derek was a lifetime member of the Calvary Bible Church, where he was extremely active in their choir. He was also a member of the "Singing Crusaders." His mother, Nancy, preceded him in death. His father, Charles Stewart of Kalamazoo, an uncle, John Stewart of California, and many cousins survive. Derek's friends will be received Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Parchment-Redmond Funeral Home 300 East G. Ave Visitation will be held at Calvary Bible Church from 2 p.m. until Service time at 3 p.m. Monday, January 10, 2005, Dr. John Munro officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. A luncheon will be at the church directly following burial. Memorials may be made to Calvary Bible Church Music Dept. or Salvation Army Music Dept.
