Michael William Abrahamson, 67, of Magazine, Arkansas, passed from this life on Saturday, August 26, 2023. He was born January 30, 1956, in Long Beach, California, to Jack and Diana Abrahamson.
He was a member of numerous rock bands, archeology association, scouts, and social clubs. He had a career as a manufacturing process engineer following his bachelor's degree from College of the Ozarks in Biology. He enjoyed storytelling, laughing, numerous hobbies, collecting, concerts, reading, riding his motorcycle, and time with family and friends. He loved telling stories of his years of meeting or playing music with many famous rock-n-roll legends like BB King, Joan Jett, ZZ Top, 38 Special, Three Dog Night, and countless others. He was proud to play worship music in church in his later years. He proudly taught his grandkids about music and its importance. He could talk for hours about his love of motorcycles and music.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Jon Abrahamson, as well as many more rock-n-roll friends.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 30 at Blue Mountain Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Roberts Memorial Chapel.
Michael is survived by his son, Jack Abrahamson of Sherwood, Arkansas; grandchildren, Damon, Ryker, and Farrah; his daughter, Diana and Greg McDaniel, of Springdale, Arkansas; and grandchildren London, Knox, and Jett.
