Christopher Dane Frederick of West Liberty, KY, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015 at Morgan County ARH, West Liberty, KY, at the age of 40 years, 11 months, and 4 days. He was born on Thursday, June 6, 1974, at Lexington, KY, son of Charles Randolph & Doris Ann Steele Frederick. Chris was a1992 graduate of Morgan County High School, a 1997 graduate of Morehead State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and 2000 graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Law. Chris was united in marriage to Gina Michelle Freeman on June 7, 1997, this union was blessed with two daughters, Madison Bailee & Christin Steele. He was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity, the Kentucky Bar Association, a board member of the West Liberty Chamber of Commerce, former member of Kentucky's Young Lawyer Program, and he practiced in federal, circuit, district, and bankruptcy court. He began practicing law in 2000 and formerly worked for Walther, Roark, and Gay Law Firm in Lexington, KY. He opened up his own law practice in his hometown of West Liberty in 2005 and enjoyed serving and helping the residents of West Liberty and surrounding counties. Chris was a devoted and loving husband, father, son, brother, son - in-law, brother-in-law, and friend. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, hunting, fishing, and golfing. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Madison Bailee Frederick; his paternal grandparents, Charles & Rhoda Frederick; maternal grandparents, Estill & Hazel Steele; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is survived by his wife, Michelle Frederick; his daughter, Christin Steele Frederick; his parents, Randolph & Doris Frederick of West Liberty, KY; two brothers, Chuck Frederick and Chan Frederick both of West Liberty, KY; father & mother-in-law, Bill & Patty Freeman of Steele, KY; several aunts, uncles, cousins, sisters & brothers-in-law, and friends. Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 2015 at the Potter Funeral Home with Elder Jimmy Adkins, Elder Tom Steele, and Dr. James D. Frederick officiating. Burial to follow in the Lacy Creek Church of Christ Cemetery, Lacy Creek, KY. Visitation after 6:00 p.m., Wednesday at the Potter Funeral Home. Pallbearers: Chase Frederick, Matt Purdy, Dr. Brian Frederick, Chad Frederick, Greg Burton, & William Freeman. Honorary Pallbearers: Anthony Frederick & Jason Frederick.
