MRS. LOU LAMPER DEAD.
Well Known and Aged Resident Died Last Night at Borgess Hospital.
Mrs. Lou Lamper, for 50 years a resident of this city, died last evening at Borgess hospital after an illness of about two weeks from pneumonia. For nearly 50 years, Mrs. Lamper has lived in the house at 51 East Kalamazoo avenue, where she moved when she came to Kalamazoo.
Mrs. Lamper was born in Holland 73 years ago. When 16 years of age she came with her parents to America and came directly to Kalamazoo, where she had since lived. Shortly after her arrival in this country, she was married to Lou Lamper. Four children were born to this union, three of which survive her. Mr. Lamper died about eight years ago.
Mrs. Lamper was an active member of the First Reformed Church.
She is survived by three children, Adrain Lamper and Mrs. J.S. Knickerbocker, of Kalamazoo, and Henry Lamper, of Anderson Indiana. The funeral announcement will be made later.
