Lisa M. Smith, 53, of Ashland, Kentucky, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 26, 2023 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Monday, September 8, 1969, in Ashland, a daughter of David and Linda Vercher Smith. Lisa was a nurse's aide for Pathways, attended Crum Chapel Church, and enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Hope Smith, of Ashland, Kentucky. Contributions in Lisa's memory may be made to Crum Chapel Church, 4900 Blackburn Ave. Ashland, Kentucky 41101. Funeral service for Lisa will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at Miller Funeral Home in Ashland, Kentucky with Brother Danny Laney and eulogy by Janet Martin. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time. Burial will immediately follow the funeral service at Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens.
