At the age of 2 years she came to Williams county, Ohio, with her parents and settled on a farm near Alvordton, Ohio, living there until she was united in marriage to William H. Fulks, Dec. 26, 1874. To this union was born five children—four sons and one daughter. Their son, James Arthur Fulks was born Oct. 20, 1879, and preceded to the spirit land Feb. 14, 1883. The surviving children are Mrs. Susan Zelley Clark of Gladwin county, Mich., George H. Fulks, of Waldron, Mich., David E. Fulks of Gladwin county and Charles E. Fulks of Lansing.
At the beginning of Mrs. Fulks life she united with the U. B. church. She trusted in her Savior and was ready and willing to go. During her sickness she often expressed her desire for her Savior to come and take her home. She was a devoted wife and kind mother and neighbor, having a pleasant word for everyone, and will be greatly missed. She leaves to mourn her loss her four children and 11 grandchildren, two brothers, two sisters and a host of friends. Gladwin County Record dated 9-23/1915 Column – 6 Page – 1.
