Jane Scott Bart, 93, died at 4 a.m. Thursday, April 3, 2008, at George Davis Manor in West Lafayette, Indiana. She was born October 12, 1914, in Ogden, Illinois, the daughter of Edward G. and Margaret Richardson Scott.

She attended Oakwood Illinois, schools and moved to Lafayette in 1943. She married William C. Bart on October 30, 1948, in Logansport, Indiana. He died August 1, 1976.

She worked at Andover Inc., Hudlow Cleaners and had managed the kitchen at Stiney's Restaurant.

Mrs. Bart was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, the Ladies Society and Altar Guild.

Surviving are nephews, Patrick E. Bath (wife: Henrietta) and George Bath, a niece, Patricia Ann Witt, agreat-niece, Ann Marie Thomas and four great-great-nephews.
