Mrs. Jessie E. Wieber, 81, of 2630 Hoyt Ave. died in a local hospital Friday Morning following and extended illness. Born in Davenport, Iowa (West Point, Iowa), October 20, 1884, she had lived in Everett for the past 45 years. She was a member of the Central Christian Church and was a past noble grand of Plymouth Rebekah Lodge No. 142, was past state president of the Washington State Women's Relief Corps; was past president of Tulalip council No. 11, Degree of Pocahontas; was a member of John Wannebo Camp, Spanish American War Veterans Auxiliary; was a past president of FOE No. 13, Auxiliary was a member of the VFW Auxiliary; The Golden Hour Club, and the Grandmothers Club. She leaves a daughter Mrs Lloyd (Ester) McChesney, of 5527 Beverly Lane; two sons Forrest Erickson of 5602 Commercial Ave., and Charles A. Fields of Everett; three sisters, 10 grandchildren. Funeral services will be announcend by the Solie Funeral Home.

She was member of the Central Christain Church and was a past noble grand of the Plymouth Rebekah Lodge No. 142, a past Pocahontas of the Tulalip council No. 11, degree of Pocahontas, past president to the Womems Relief Corps, Deptatment of Washington and Alaska; a member of the john Wannebo Camp No. 9, Spanish American War Veterans Auxiliary; a member of the VFW Auxiliary, a member of the Security Benefit Association No. 1103, a member of the Mount Pleasant, Iowa Woodman circle 118; The Golden Hour Club and the Grandmothers club; She was a very active and interested in the Camp Fire and Boy Scouts, having cooked for then at their Summer Camps for a number of years. She was a cook at the Wilson School for a number of years. In her retired years she gave many hours of work to the Canser Fund, Polio Fund and the Snohomish County TB Associations.
She leaves one daughter Mrs. Lloyd (Ester) McChesney of 5527 Beverly Lane; two sons Charles Fields of 2616 Rainier Ave., Forrest Erickson of 5602 Commercial; her stepmother Mrs. Ina Craig of Burlington, Iowa, three sisters, Mrs. Bessie Church of Galesberg, Illinois, Mrs. Mattie Willey of Great Falls , Montana, Mrs Lavae Quelen of Downer Grove, Illinois; 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday at 1 p.m. in the Solie Funeral Home. The Rev. ronald Mowe will officiate. Burial will be in Cypress Lawn Cemetery. Honorary casketbeares will be Harry Smith, Robert Johnson, Ed Carboneau, Lee Young, Tom Callahan and Art Wester. Active casketbearers will be Ab Pearson, Robert McChesney, Duane Johnson, Dick Lamb, Ward Meyers and Mel Jacobason
