Hopkins~Kohl Wedding

Miss Burma Hopkins and Mr. Atman Kohl were united in marriage at the home of the bride's parents Thursday of last week. Rev. Benjamin Farrell of Irwin said the ceremony, he having performed a like service for the parents when they were married. No guests were present save the families of the wedded pair. A good dinner was served and a pleasant social time was had. the bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hopkins. The groom a son of Mr. and Mrs. E. V. Kohl, all of Lincoln Township. They are all well known and have many friends among their acquaintances.
They will live on the Kohl farm in the western edge of Lincoln Township.

Mrs. Burma Fay Kohl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charley Hopkins, died at their home Monday morning between eight and nine o'clock of tuberculosis. The funeral will be held from the M.E. church at three o'clock Wednesday afternoon.

MRS. ATMAN KOHL DEAD

Mrs. Atman Kohl died at the home
of her parents in this city, Mr. and
Mrs. C. W. Hopkins, Monday. Her
death was caused by tuberculosis,
which dread disease attacked her
soon after her marriage less than a
year ago.
The funeral was held at the M. E.
church yesterday afternoon at 3, and
was attended by many sorrowing rel~
atives and friends. Rev. Hardaway,
the pastor, conducted the service.
Deceased was born in this locality,
grew up here, and quit the high
school to be married. Since marri~
age, herself and husband have lived
upon a farm near town.
Her early death is a matter much
to be regretted by her husband, her
parents and the many friends whom
she had made in the period of her
short life.
