Death of Aged Lady,
Mrs. Margaret Pendleton Hull, wife of Elias Morgan Hull living on Route 4, died at 10 o'clock, Friday
night , after being ill scarcely a week.
Mrs. Hull had not been enjoying good health for several days and about a week previous to her death, received a scratch on the arm.
Several days later, the wound, which seemed very slight at first, began to swell and cause her pain.
A physician was summoned and announced that blood poisoning had set in.
A heroic effort was made to check the disease, which grew worse with the fatal result.
The funeral services were conducted from the Bethel Baptist church by the Rev. J. A. Hoyle at 4 o'clock Saturday afternoon.
Mrs. Hull was about 64 years of age and was before her marriage, Miss Margaret Pendleton.
She is survived by her husband and six children.
