Mrs. Anna V. "Fanny" Faller, 96, a former resident of 411 Plummer Street, Oil City, died at 3:15 p.m. Thursday, July 21, in Oil City Area Health Center. She had been a resident of Grandview Health Care, Oil City. Born on August 28, 1891, in Fryburg, Clarion County, she was the daughter of Jacob and Agnes Bauer Fasenmyer, and was educated in the Fryburg area. Mrs. Faller was a member of St. Joseph Church and Rosary Altar Society of the church, Catholic Daughters of the Americas and Oil City VFW Auxiliary. For many years, she was a volunteer for White Fathers and White Sisters missionary groups in the area. Mrs. Faller was married on August 5, 1919, in St. Michael Church, Fryburg, to Norbert A. Faller, who died on November 6, 1948. Survivors include four sons, Arthur N. Faller, Ralph A. Faller and Eugene E. Faller, all of Oil City, and Raymond I. Faller, of Franklin; 15 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Edwin Fesenmyer, of Marble Star Route, and Jacob Fasenmyer, of Shippenville RD; three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Eisenman, of Buffalo, New York, Mrs. Lavina Weller, of Oil City, and Mrs. Edna Baughman, of Shippenville RD. Two sisters, Louella Carson and Colletta Aaron, and two brothers, Walter Fesenmyer and Howard Fesenmyer, are deceased. Friends may call in Reinsel Funeral Home, Oil City, from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph Church. Her nephew, Rev. Henry Faller, will officiate. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
