Olle was America's most beloved Swedish-language entertainer of the 20th century. His recording of "Nikolina" sold over 100,000 copies prior to the great depression. After spending his later years performing for the Swedish Branch of the Salvation Army, he passed away June 24, 1960 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
